TORR shock absorbers

The main function of any car shock absorber is to stabilize the vehicle during its movement by damping the vibrations on rough parts of the road and to minimize tilting on turns.
TORR shock absorbers provide comfort and safety for passengers and the car driver, together with other car systems (leaf spring, pneumatic or helical spring).

- Design of recoil and compression valves. In mono tube shock absorbers those valves are made as one block, while in dual tube they are presented as separate elements therefore distributing the load.
- Filling the working chamber of shock absorber. Oil filling of working chamber causes a softer damping of vibrations and distributes the load by liquid therefore providing more comfort to the driver and passengers on the road. Gas filling of working chamber is recommended when car stability is needed on high speed, under heavy conditions and operation in low temperature conditions.
- Thickness of piston rod. Thickness of piston rod determines hardness of its movement which is important to reduce time needed for damping vibrations while driving.
